Trying to revive the topic I posted a month ago or so on gmail imap/smtp access through untangle. This is primarily hitting mobile users since most everybody else just uses the web interface, but I've gone through every option I can think of and can't see where untangle is possibly breaking this.
I've even turned off every option in the rack, firewall, app filter etc and nothing works. One step is fully taking untangle down, putting a device at the actual internet drop and testing it from there but I'm rather doubting I would see issues at that point. Other folks with the same provider don't have imap issues.
Starting fresh, can anyone point out what settings should be in place (perfect world) to allow this? I can take that and work it into my existing setup and hopefully make progress.
