So I finally decided to install 11.0 and test before replacing current versions. I did a plain default installation of 11.0 on a physical device with two nic's and it is configured in router mode. However, after adding a switch to the internal adapter and connecting my laptop I cannot get lease an IP from DHCP. Looking at the untangle server DHCP is enabled. If I assign an IP to the laptop adapter I still can't ping the internal interface and from the untangle server I cannot ping my laptop assigned static IP.
From the untangle command prompt I can ping the WAN IP I added and the internal adapter IP but I am not able to ping any devices outside of the untangle server. Here is my config as I am currently testing.
Untangle 11.0
External adapter: 10.1.1.8/24
Internal adapter: 192.168.2.1/24 with DHCP enabled
That is all and I have not made any other changes or configurations. I did disable IPV4 NAT by unchecking the box under the external adapter but still no luck. Any ideas or thoughts on why basic network functionality is not working would be awesome and how to fix it.
Thanks.
