Hey there,
Been polling my hair out literally, and figured it was finally time to break down and post on the forum :) I have searched and browsed the forums at great length but although I have seen what look to be like similar problems, I am not going to resurrect an old thread as I would rather start a fresh one as circumstances could be (and usually are) different.
Here's my problem:
Up until my upgrade to Untangle 9.3 (which I performed on 1/8/2013) I was receiving E-mail fine to my Internal mail server. Only today did I realize that some of the routine mails I was expecting haven't been showing up. So much for thinking I was having a quiet month?!? :)
I have stepped through the troubleshooter in the Wiki and can tell you that I CAN telnet to the box from the internal network to the mail server in the DMZ (port 25) and also from the UT box but CANNOT telnet to it from the outside and constantly get the following:
user@host:~$ telnet IP 25
Trying IP...
telnet: connect to address IP: Connection refused
I also tried a tcpdump form the Untangle box listening on port 25, to no avail. No traffic at all.
Now onto my configuration, it's pretty simple but worth noting here:
Internet --> UT --> DMZ-switch --> mail-server
I have verified the mail server can access the internet (And thus send mails) and that it is using it as the default gateway. Like I had mentioned above, up until the upgrade I haven't had a single issue!
Here is a shot of the only thing I have customized in regards to the mail server, a pretty simple Port Forward:

I saw in another post that mentioned I needed to do a Bypass rule for the mail server, and I can say I did attempt it but ended up removing anything before posting to ensure it was in as pristine a state as possible.
I have used mxtoolbox.com to try and diagnose and it is yielding the same results.
Any help / advice would be amazingly appreciated. I am sure it's simple and I'm just being dense.
Thanks,
- Stan
