We have a high school rack that has a rule that picks up everything on 10.10.0.0/21 subnet. We have a captive portal installed on that rack capturing traffic so Students and Staff have to login to access the Internet. We have a policy that says if any of those users match the Directory Connector group "Staff" to put them on the "Staff" rack instead of the regular High School Rack.
I was hoping that if we did it that way it would use the Timeout and Idle Timeout from the Staff rack instead of the High School Rack for the Captive Portal. This doesn't seem to be the case. It looks like the Captive Portals just stack, correct?
Basically we want Staff to have way longer timeouts than Students. I take it there still isn't a way to make this happen?
