After reading the Memory FAQ and as many posts as I can find, still wonder ?

Is this swap size normal ?

Code:

Total Memory: 2100.37 MB
Memory Used: 1054.36 MB
Memory Free: 1046 MB
Swap Files: 6152.5 MB Total Swap Space (240.83 MB Used)

Number of Processors / Type / Speed:
4, Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3210 @ 2.13GHZ, 2144.287
Load Average: (1 min, 5 min, 15 min):
0.08, 0.05, 0.06
Tasks (Processes)
115
Uptime:
172 Days, 4 Hours, 19 Minutes

The Memory FAQ kinda confused me in this part:
Quote:

As you can see, the system has 720MB free. That means if five 125MB files were downloaded simultaneously, the box would start to run out of real memory. Even worse, I/O operations will slow down because it will have run out of I/O buffers.
My family does download some very large files (2+3 GB Plus) daily for work, sometimes 3 at the same time.
