I've been away from UT for 3 years and now I'm back to use it for a captive portal on our guest network.
In the past the AB module went nuts when you have Mac computers are on the network. that was 100% of our machines at the time. The only way to make the network usable was to turn off the AB module.
None of the machines had malware or were being used improperly. Mac computers are VERY chatty on the network. (thanks a lot apple)
I was wondering if the latest version has been fixed to properly handle Mac computers. I have it on and it is even throttling/dropping data on cell phones/ipods etc on our network. just started it so I havent had a chance to test macs yet.
