Hello All,
We have setup Untangle in a Virtual environment. Untangle is setup with a virtual switch (internal,external), below you can see a diagram of the current setup. We have seen serious instability issues with SMTP traffic, up down up down. We will run telnet sessions and discover port 25 is down or not answering back. We do have a crossover cable between untangle internal and 2.32 NIC (we've tried a straight through as well). We have a port forwarding rule setup to forward smtp traffic that comes in on the .11 NIC to the .32 NIC. What are we doing wrong? can you suggest us a better solution.
