A newbie asking for advice

Hi there everyone. I am new around here, but not new to the concept of untangle, wishing for quite a while to have my own "appliance". I have attached one image that somehow represents what I have planned to upgrade my network. I don't own yet the RP-N53's, neither the gigabit switch, they're only my wish list right now :). Can the untangle be configured this way ? I am mostly interested in the filtering capabilities ...

To avoid making a new post, do any of you have any ideea if this systems are compatible, or have any knowledge over the chipsets ?
