"DNS queries from the LAN are normally directly to the Untangle (DNS service) and Untangle DNS queries to the ISP"
This does not work for me on version 10, coming from 9.2 and it was working fine.
My Clients cannot access the internet when the DNS is pointing to the Untangle LAN IP. I only get it to work by going into the advanced DHCP options and doing a DNS override and use a free DNS such as google (8.8.8.8).
This worked flawless in version 9.2, I do not have a internal DNS server setup is
ISP ---> Untangle ---> Switch/Hub ---> Clients
Its like the DNS is not working at all, the Untangle box can access the internet through my ISP.
I am a 15 year network engineer so configuring and designing networks are not a issue and nothing in this environment has changed except a Untangle upgrade to version 10.
Is this a bug in version 10?
Thanks for the input.
