I have had Untangle installed for a few days now and I am still trying to read and learn about each of the various applications in the rack but I have to admit I am finding certain things confusing especially since I am not seeing the log entries I would expect.
In general is the firewall configured out of the box for general protection? Are their specific items or any guidelines that I should be following to increase the security of the systems behind the box?
I want to create a rule to pass and log all traffic on a specific port. I am obviously doing it wrong because I am not seeing my test traffic. I have 2 IP's assigned to the outside NIC and I forward a different port to a different internal IP on the LAN.
Thanks in advance.
