using client to access slave network

I have two sites that are working fine with site to site. If I use the openvpn client, I can access the primary site with no issues, however if I use the openvpn client to access the secondary/slave site, I am unsuccessful.

The routing table indicates that the computer running the openvpn client is getting a route for the slave site, however when I run a traceroute to the slave site, traffic routes to 172.16.0.1 and dies there.

Again, the site to site tunnel works perfectly in both directions (office A and office B can pass traffic back and forth at will), but the client functions to the primary site only.

I have exported both ip ranges in the "exported hosts and networks" tab with 10.10.1.0 / 24
10.10.2.0 / 24
